Pretty Awesome Deal Alert at Jo-Ann's

Hey Guys!  Just wanted to pop in real quick to say hello and to share with you some fabric at a great price.

While out shopping with a friend, I came across a huge remnant sale at Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts.  Each remnant was priced great at just $2.  My head was spinning with ideas!

Measuring 17" square, the fabric would be perfect for pillow covers.

Or if you're not interested in sewing, they would make pretty decorative tea towels to use in your kitchen.

I usually keep a tea towel draped over the oven handle.

The edges are finished with a nice clean seam to avoid fraying and should wash up great!

If you're not sure how to use them, I came across a great link with a bunch of simple projects.

And if you're a food blogger, the fabric would be great to use while staging your pictures.

So while you're out and about this week be sure to stop by Jo-Anns and pickup some creativity!

P.S. I am in no way affiliated with Jo-Ann's just passing along a great deal!

  1. Smart ideas!! I think that if you sew there are many things you could do. I got a sewing machine for Christmas and it's still in the box. Hmmm...

  3. Thanks for the heads up. They would be perfect for some small projects we have planned for Katie's new room at school (one being a penant banner). I am assuming all of the stores are having the sale now?

  9. I am going to march right on into JoAnns tomorrow and ask for some creativity and just video tape their blank expressions. LOL.
As much as you can make all those remnants look pretty and inviting they'd look like heck all scrunched up in a ball in my house. So I shall need that creativitiy of which you speak.

Great ideas - especially to sew as pillows!

  16. This really has nothing to do with this post, but, I've been reading your recipes and think I should come live with you. You can email your address and I'll get there as quick as I can. I'll be very quite except for munching sounds and try not to take up too much space. I will probably need room to expand as time passes though.
