Thank-you

I had no idea when I started blogging the treat I was in for.  I have made many friendships through blogging and I am always inspired to be more creative.  After a push from my daughter I thought this would be a neat way to share some of the projects I completed, a recipe here and there and even a bat!  I never thought I would feel connected with so many of you and create so many friendships.  As my list of followers grows, I am amazed more and more that many of you are interested in what I have to say or the projects I post. My cousin calls me "Emotia", short for emotional! She teases me because I cry easily I may or may not be crying as I type this and I'm very sentimental.  I am so happy to have a spot in blog world and to be amongst so many creative people. Thank-you for being here. You are appreciated!

Having said that, I was recently awarded the stylish blogger award by four lovely ladies Tana from Orange it Lovely, Tatum from Many Moments of Me, Rosemary from Villabarnes and Miz Helen from Miz Helen's Country Cottage.  These ladies have wonderful blogs and I'm sure they would love if you stopped by for a visit and said hello! In order to accept this award here are the rules:

7 things about me:

1. I just recently started carrying a purse.  I thought carrying a purse would make me look too grown up.  Now I love my big purse.  It's great for stashing food into the movie theater!!

2. My daughter and I share the same middle name.

3. My husband and I love Quentin Tarrantino movies.  We even went as far to name our son after him. His middle name is Quentin!

4. My bucket list includes running a marathon and visiting Germany.

5. I HATE my feet!

6. I have four best friends who live in N.J. We have been friends since elementary school. We visit each other as often as we can. We spend hours on the phone reminiscing and laughing. They have been there for me when I needed them most. I can't imagine my life without my girls!

7. I love everything 80's. From movies to music, you name it and I probably love it!

  1. I was exactly the same with handbags, Brandi. I used to carry a plastic bag instead because I didn't want to look like a bag-lady. But I probably looked even more like a bag lady!! Duh!

Thank you so much for my award, you lovely girlie. Yay! IT's made my day.

  5. Brandi I can TOTALLY relate to no. 6 and 7. I have a couple of besties who live interstate who I've known since I was 5 and will forever be close with. And 80's - HELLO? Wasn't this the best decade ever for music and TV? Golden Girls being my favourite - I still record it when it's on cable :)

  13. Brandi this post is so sweet! I feel you girl, I too feel like my blog followers are my friends and I am rather emotional myself. You definitely deserved the Stylish Blogger award. Oh and I laughed out loud at your number 1. I am all about sneaking food into the theater lol. I think we'd get along great in 'real' life.

  14. I loved reading about you Brandi and thanks so much for the award. I think it fits you perfectly too. You're very stylish! I laughed at number 1. I've carried a purse since high school, but my husband is the one that always stashes goodies in it when we go to the movies.

I'm very impressed with your bucket list too. Running a marathon, wow, that would be quite an accomplishment for anyone, I think :-)
    Have a wonderful week!
    Blessings,

  15. What a treat to learn more about you! A cute purse tells about you, young or old and I love leather, real soft with pockets inside, cross body right now. I like to pop a color too.

Thanks heavens for the bighearted girls in this world...tell your cousin, "they win awards!" Congrats.

  16. Girl this is hilarious. I could have totally written most of those about myself, lol. Isn't blogging the greatest thing since sliced bread. I swear it's given me a chance to connect and be friends with woman all over the world, who I would have never had the honor of knowing, had it not been for my blog.

So glad I found you, and CONGRATS girl!!!

    Bella:)
