Duluth Trading Company- Cargo Cape

I was contacted by Duluth Trading Company and asked if I would be interested in reviewing their products.  Most importantly, what impressed me about Duluth Trading Company was their willingness to send me something that I'd truly adore.  Joe was a pleasure to work with!

I wasn't familiar with Duluth Trading Company until I attended Haven Blog Conference, here in Atlanta.  In general Duluth Trading Company is most known for their tool bags and long tail shirts, but there's so much more!  They offer a wide selection of work wear, footwear and accessories for men and women.  They even carry dog gear.
After spending some time browsing their website, I chose a Cargo Cape for my vehicle.
I love my dogs, but I definitely do not love all the dirt and slobber that comes with them.
As you can see the old liner had seen better days!
*Note to self, never put paint in the car without making sure the top is secure.  The liner saved my interior!

Needless to say, I love my new Cargo Cape.  It fits perfectly in my vehicle.  It's designed to fit most SUVs and minivans.

The Velcro points keep it in place.
The bumper flap is optional...

and can be tucked away.

The Cargo Cape also includes convenient storage pockets for leashes.

Sasha likes riding in the car.  The liner adds extra traction for bumpy car rides.
While keeping the rest of my vehicle free from dog hair.

She wasted no time getting comfortable!
*Travel tip- Taking your pet along in a rental car can incur additional cleaning fees.  Save money by covering the seats with a Cargo Cape.

The Cargo Cape is designed to protect your vehicle's interior.    Even if you don't have pets it's great to have in place to transport groceries, thrift store finds, gardening tools and sports equipment.  It's waterproof and machine washable.

Interested?!  Visit Duluth Trading Company for more information.  Receive free shipping on your order of $50 or more.

*No financial compensation was received, however I did receive a Cargo Cape to review.  All opinions are my own.

  4. Sasha looks comfortable. Alfie likes to ride in the back of our vehicle, too. I like that our Subaru has mostly rubberized surfaces in the back, which are easy to clean. I usually throw in an old dog crate mat for softness and traction.

Brandi this is totally off topic, but I would love hear your thoughts on blogging. How you grew your readership and got your blog to where it is today. And in general what's contributed to your blog's success:). You're doing so well and I truly admire you!

  19. Good Afternoon Brandi, It is always useful to hear about someone's personal recommendation, much more trustworthy than advertising.
This would have been so useful to me when our little King Charles Spaniel was with us, as she shed a lot of hair.
Sasha is so sweet and looks very happy posing in your car.
    Best Wishes
    Daphne

  22. Omg I had no idea Duluth was more than work clothes!. Love this Cargo Cape. Having a big dog now I totally pay attention to these things. We were just looking at similar products at PetSmart and Petco. We are definitely gonna have to give Duluth a serious consideration. Awesome post Brandi:)

  23. That is really great. My dogs ride in the seats because they are scaredy cats, but I could definitely use something like this for my thrift store hauls and grocery shopping. Thanks for the info Brandi.

  24. When I spill paint...I just let it sit in a puddle and dry and then peel it up. That usually works!

  25. Hi Brandi,
That cargo cape sure does come in handy for the dogs as well as paint. I did the exact same thing to my car. I put a can of paint in the truck with the lid not completely closed and there was pain every where. Your dog seems to be right at home. I have never heard of Duluth. Maybe, I need to check them out.

  26. Well, just look how cute little Sasha is!! Looks like she's happy with the cargo cape! You're right, it would be handy for other things too like groceries and hauling plants home from the nursery!

  27. Sasha sure does look pleased with her new Cargo Cape. I must tell my son about this. He was just here the other night "complaining" about the mess the groceries make in the back of his car. Mind you, Iggy, his Shitzu sits in the front, lol…

Great review, Brandi! Thank you so much for sharing...

  28. I would love to have one of these if we still had a dog! I pinned it instead. Sasha is a cutie - I love dogs.

  29. I have a feeling my dog Izy would love that. Your dog is beautiful!

  30. How awesome is that and exactly what I need! Not going to share the canvas tarp or the old blanket I've shamelessly used in the back of my SUV. Lol!! I will definitely check them out.

  31. This looks like a great product. I don't have any pets, but the back of my SUV is always a mess from bags of potting soil, plants, and who knows what else! I'm going to check this out.
