Living Pretty With Your Pets and A Hometalk Feature

Hello friends!  Today I'm over at Julia's blog, Cuckoo 4 Design sharing a little more about the three, great dogs I share my home with.  I'm sure you'll enjoy meeting them.  Hope to see you there.

Also, today I’m sharing a board that I curated on Hometalk.  Every man needs a room to themselves.  I really enjoyed creating the perfect man cave for my husband.  The projects that I clipped have loads of inspiration for the guys.  If you haven’t checked out Hometalk you definitely should.  While you’re there why not consider joining; no blog needed!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  2. That was a really cute post Brandi. Your no dogs on the furniture rule is one I should have followed. I had a list of dos and don'ts before we got our dogs. They lasted for about five seconds after I bought them home LOL. Fortunately my dogs are a non shedding breed.

  4. I'm not brave enough for a dog but the girls keep begging. I don't like small dogs and I'm terrified of big ones. Makes no sense to me either LOL
Your dogs are gorgeous, just like their Mama.

  6. What a sweet post Brandi! I love that you've been able to enforce the no furniture rule. I used to have to put books/scale trays/wooden eggs/etc on the couch when I'd leave for work, or Max would be up on the white couch all day licking the arms of it. :) He figured he didn't need to follow the no furniture rule when he was alone in the house.

    Have a great day.

  7. I enjoyed reading about your dogs. I also have three: an eight-year-old shih tzu (the alpha), a cocker-(maybe) lab mix we got as a stray, and a labradoodle who'll turn seven months old in a week. Oliver, the labradoodle, was just neutered and microchipped on Thursday. He didn't bat an eye and went right back to tearing up my loveseat. Sigh. He only does this when I'm not here. Anyway, I love people who love their dogs!

  8. "Every man needs a room to themselves" Amen to that Brandi, I couldn't have said it better!
As far as I'm concerned it could be a basement gym but the one with the Porsche could work too! ;)

  10. I chuckled at your man cave board because Stu has totally has a man cave! (It's the garage and filled with all his tools and fishing stuff)

  11. Oh, I visited Cuckoo For Design and your girls are beautiful. I do think that three would be too much for me, but I'm always trying to talk my Steve into getting one more. Now that we live in the country, we certainly have room for another. He is afraid that Butchy would be too jealous. I love that photo of your son reading with his dog. It's a great way to teach children responsibility and they are such loyal companions.
    Have a happy day.
    Connie :)

  12. What pretty pups, you have Brandi! I haven't had a dog or cat in many years, it's just fish now! I have to say that I don't miss the work, but I do miss the company! They are much, much more obedient than kids! ;) Ps...love your man cave board. I could see myself in a few of those rooms, especially the ones with the pool tables and the beams on the ceiling!

  16. Hi Brandi,

Yes, really sweet photo of you and your lovely dog.
I went over for a visit and the three dogs are gorgeous and must keep you very busy.
Oh yes, training a dog can be a big job but so important to have a well behaved dog.
