Moulding Success

Although we're a long way from calling our entry, stairway and hallway finished, I'm happy to share with you a few progress pictures.

The moulding has been installed.  Giving the walls a fresh coat of paint has made a huge difference.

The outlet has been wired and the new light fixture is up!

I spend most of my free time painting.  Oh how I dislike cutting in.  I have so much to do it's daunting.

It'll be worth it in the end.  I must keep reminding myself of this.

  1. Cutting in is a bit of a pain, however, the end result of painting is fantastic. I love all your molding, which I believe clearly makes an architectural statement. Keep your eyes on the prize.

  13. Beautiful! And yes it will be worth all the hard work.

Your glossy black door is so pretty, I've been thinking about painting ours the same way. It is dark red on the outside and white on the inside with 14 years of dings and scratches. I like yours!
