Moulding Success

Although we're a long way from calling our entry, stairway and hallway finished, I'm happy to share with you a few progress pictures.

The moulding has been installed.  Giving the walls a fresh coat of paint has made a huge difference.

The outlet has been wired and the new light fixture is up!

I spend most of my free time painting.  Oh how I dislike cutting in.  I have so much to do it's daunting.

It'll be worth it in the end.  I must keep reminding myself of this.

Cutting in is a bit of a pain, however, the end result of painting is fantastic. I love all your molding, which I believe clearly makes an architectural statement. Keep your eyes on the prize.

I am a terrible painter so I can appreciate what an excellent job you did! That looks great!

I have to tell you that every time I read your blog or see you over at IG, Don't Disturb the Groove (the song) pops in my head. In fact, it is in there right now. :)

Beautiful! And yes it will be worth all the hard work.

Your glossy black door is so pretty, I've been thinking about painting ours the same way. It is dark red on the outside and white on the inside with 14 years of dings and scratches. I like yours!

It looks beautiful Brandi. I know what you mean about cutting in. Yikes! I'm painting my LR, DR, and hall right now and I'm still in the prep stage five days later, OMG it's a nightmare...anyway, your hard work is paying off. I'm looking forward to seeing the reveal when it's all done.
