2012 Holiday Photos

This weekend was beautiful.  We had mild temperatures and comfortable weather, great for outdoor activities and a holiday photo shoot.  For this year's holiday photos my family and I headed to Stone Mountain Park.  The park is decorated for the holidays which is the perfect backdrop for pictures.

I bribed my kids with a chance to play in the snow if they didn't whine too much about posing for pictures.  I assumed they wouldn't give me a hard time...I obviously assume too much!  It was like pulling teeth getting them to cooperate!  Jade had the giggles so bad she couldn't stop and Caleb complained that his legs were hurting because I was taking too long.  Ha!  Don't let their sweet smiles fool you.  Trust me when I tell you it was excruciating. LOL!

Here are a few pictures of our day.

As always, thank you for stopping by.

I love the picture where he is whispering in his sister's ear- they are adorable! And I don't see ANY picture where they don't look like wonderful kids. I tease!- I have kids of my own and I know EXACTLY what you are talking about, LOL.

For me it was easier when they were toddlers than now when they are teenagers! There is always somebody who does not like the way they look! I like the one where Caleb is whispering in his sister's ear as well:)

Brandi, your children are beautiful, they must take after their mom. :) Yes, pictures are a painful but necessary process, aren't they? Someday, when they have kids of their own, they'll thank you!

What a gorgeous family! I'm sure it didn't take much to bribe them
with all that fluffy white stuff.

Beautiful pictures! I also wanted to say thanks for the heads up regarding those candle "things" from Hobby Lobby! Yayy! Never knew about them. AND you sew, design, take photos and make shrimp soup? Good LAWD! You put me to shame, but I'm still rocking! ;-)

Have a great day!
