Fall Porch Decorating

I hope you're all having a great weekend!  We had beautiful fall weather today.  I was able to get some yard work done that I'd been postponing for the last few weeks.

After cleaning up the yard, I went to Home Depot and came home with some fall plants and pumpkins to decorate the porch with.

We had a few dead trees cut down in our yard last week and I asked my husband to save a few stumps for me.  I used the stumps to display the pumpkins.

I filled the window boxes with snapdragons, pansies and mustard greens.  Hopefully I can keep the plants alive and thriving!

I purchased the lantern last year from the thrift store.  I gave it a quick makeover with spray paint.

The pumpkin planters are candy pails purchased for $1 and filled with mums.

I've had this wreath forever.  Years later and I still love it!

That's it!  I had fun decorating my front porch this year.  I chose to keep things simple, but welcoming.  Thank you for reading, friends!

So inviting, Brandi. Your photos are beautiful. I've done nothing to my entry. Gotta get going on that.

Brandi your porch looks so pretty. I think it was a great idea to use those pumpkin buckets to hold the mums, I love that. The window boxes look pretty too. Love your pics!

Beautiful decorations... I love the way you decorated your front step. I am hoping that it will be warm enough next week for me to get out and do something with mine.

Welcoming it is!!!! I love the stumps! My parents had some trees cut down on their property a couple of weeks ago and I considered asking the guys to cut me up some pieces, but I had no way to get them home. (Hubby would have had my head if I put them in my car!!!) Yours look really cool!

Your porch looks lovely Brandi. I think mums always remind me of Fall. The stumps are a very creative way of displaying the pumpkins. Spray paint is such a wonder for makeovers.

Wow...it looks GREAT! I love it all. I have not really decorated my porch{sad face} because we have a dump trailer in front of the house with bathroom remodel trash in it. That's spooky enough! lol

Hi Brandi. :)

Your porch looks great. What a great idea to use those tree stumps! Have you seen fake tree stumps for sale in the store. That kind of cracks me up.

I love your blue door as a backdrop with all the mums and pumpkins. Very pretty!

Your porch is gorgeous - love your stumps!! We had an ice storm last October and tons of trees were downed and chopped. I wanted to save some stumps - but never got around to it before they were hauled away. Every time I see the perfect stump on my walks, I want to lug it home - but can't lift them (maybe I need to bring a wagon on my walks)!! Glad your hubs saved you those stumps!
