Use Napkins To Make Pillows

Whenever I'm in Target I like to browse their table linen aisle for fun, new designs.  Although their dinner napkins would look great on any table, I thought this pattern would be perfect for a pair of pillows.

These pillows were quick to make.  No fabric to cut, I just stitched down each side.  Then after stuffing each pillow, I closed the small opening shut using my glue gun for an invisible seam.

For only $9.99 plus the cost of pillow stuffing, this was such an inexpensive way to brighten up my home.

PS.  I love the creative way Kara used the napkins to repair her damaged TOMS.

  3. I purchased some napkins to do the exact same thing! Too bad I'm scared to pull out my sewing machine!

Why does such a small thing scare me?!?!

  7. Another good idea. The table linens have some of the best patterns and designs sometime.

  8. Love that idea! the best part is that you closed them up by hot glueing them! I usually close them up by hand stitching them, and ouch! that's hard! I'm sure gonna try your easy way! Thanks.

  9. Hi!
I love this idea and I NEVER think about doing it when I'm out drooling over new napkins (like I was just this weekend!) I have a little 'reminder' sheet that I take with me when I'm shopping to keep me focused - gotta add this idea to the list. Have a great week.

  24. Okay, the pillows are very cute. BUT the best thing I learned from this post was how to make a seamless edge. I haven't made pillow in years, but I never knew how to close the fourth side. Thanks!
