Felt Dahlia Pillow

My sister's birthday is a few days away.  I wish I was in N.J. to celebrate with her.  Unfortunately, I'm miles away in Georgia.  I spent hours wondering what to get her.  In the end, I decided to make a pillow for my sister.  A gift I knew she would love.  I was inspired by this dahlia flower picture and turned it into a pillow for my sister.

Happy Birthday, Kristen!   I hope you always know how much you mean to me, and what a wonderful sister  you are.

**A special thank-you to Stephanie @ Under the Table and Dreaming, Kim @ Savvy Southern StyleKristi @ Addicted 2 Decorating, Stephanie @ Gumdrop PassMandy @ Cre8ive Motives and Michelle @ Someday Crafts, for featuring my sister's pillow on their blogs!  Thanks also to Jen @ Tatertots and Jello for featuring my sister's pillow on her Facebook page.

  14. Listen, I know that I'm two days late but I was saving this to when I had more time to reply. Still, I have no time but I wanted to tell you that this pillow is beautiful.
Perhaps you told me where you live but I forget. Anyway, I know you don't live near because I would love for you to sit with me and teach me how to do these things.
I know, I'm rambling. That's because it's 5PM and I'm a little drunk. But believe me, that doesn't take away from my admiration of your work. You are a true Artist in every sense of the word. Maybe one day I can make things like this. In the meantime, I going to assume that you totally neglect your kids to make these things. Really, believing that, is the only thing getting me through.
Alright, listen, I don't feel like reading over my entire comment for typos. So, if you see anything misspelled or that doesn't make sense, just deal with it.
