Coffee Filter Wreath and A Pesky Squirrel

I know coffee filter wreaths have been seen all over blog land.  I've been wanting to make my own for a while now.  You just need a few things to make your own: natural coffee filters, a cardboard wreath form, and a hot glue gun.  To construct my wreath, I followed Kristin's instructions.  I didn't have any poster board, so I used the round cardboard from a frozen pizza box.  I added a couple of dried leaves to finish it up!

Awesome and super easy!

And completely unrelated, I woke up this morning to find this squirrel helping himself to the contents of the bird feeder!

 Squirrels have to eat too!

  7. Hi Brandi!

Your wreath turned out so full and pretty! I like how you added the leaves. It sets yours apart from the others. Coffee filter wreaths remind me of hydrangeas.

That second picture of the squirrel hanging from his legs is amazing! He deserves some bird seed after a stunt like that...LOL!

Catch up with you soon! Hope you had a nice Mother's Day weekend! Hugs

  18. Love the fullness of your wreath! So pretty! That little squirrel is funny. I used to have a squirrel feeder. Did you know they make those? I could sit and watch them for hours. Once a momma squirrel put her baby in our feeder. We didn't touch it. I was afraid he wasn't going to be able to get out but he finally managed to.
    Have a nice day!

  24. I love how big and full it is. Reminds me of a chrysanthemum!

Squirrels are my nemesis. I tried to grow my own vegetables and they ate every single blossom off of of my plants!

  25. LOVE the wreath creation! This is the first one like this to impress me!

We have circus squirrels here too, but they like to eat other things besides bird seed....like the wood on our garage doors & the carpet on the front porch. Yes, they're cute, but only to a certain extent. IMO.

lol! at the squirrel! We have a ton of squirrels here too. I don't have a bird feeder for that reason but I did read to coat it in vaseline to prevent squirrels from stealing the food. ?

    Have a great week, Brandi!
